Neutralization system

The STOMA neutralization system ensures the safe and reliable treatment and separation of waste materials such as acids, caustic oils and magnesium waste and guarantees extremely economical wastewater treatment. The system operates fully automatically and continuously, minimizing the need for manual monitoring and optimizing the operating process.

The STOMA neutralization system is an innovative solution for the safe and efficient treatment of waste materials. Its advanced technology enables the environmentally friendly neutralization of acids, the separation of caustic oils and the filtration of magnesium waste. This effectively reduces water pollution and wastewater treatment is sustainable, legally compliant and conserves resources.

With its fully automatic and continuous operation, the neutralization system actively contributes to reducing environmental pollution and offers companies a reliable solution for environmentally conscious wastewater treatment. This makes the neutralization system a pioneering technology for sustainable production processes.

In the neutralization tank, the waste acid is neutralized to a harmless pH value by adding caustic soda. The neutralized liquid can then be disposed of in the local waste water system.

A final pH control system at the outlet measures and records the pH value of the medium and stores it automatically. This ensures precise control over the quality of the discharged medium.

The oil contained in the etching additives is efficiently separated in the system by double separation. The separated oil is collected in a canister, which is placed under the outlet point of the oil separator for easy disposal.

Magnesium and zinc hydroxides are filtered out of the medium using a filtration process. An air-driven diaphragm pump system transports the medium through the press, with the precipitated material falling as cake into one of the two collection trolleys provided.

Development machines

for aqueous or solvent-based developers

Our devices are made of high-quality stainless steel and are characterized by a particularly robust design. They are equipped with a developer and a spray tank and offer a reliable solution for developing printing plates. Depending on requirements, versions are available for aqueous or solvent-based development.

The devices ensure uniform development of the printing plates and offer a high development capacity. The smooth workflow is supported by user-friendly operation, which means that the operating personnel do not come into contact with the developing fluid.

They also impress with their minimal space requirements, making them an ideal solution for confined working environments.

From machine type 27L upwards, an automatic system is integrated, which makes handling much easier for the operator. The development movement is automated by an electro-pneumatic control system, which optimizes the development process. In addition, the development time can be set via a time relay, which leads to constant development times and thus ensures consistent results.

The extraction hoods are designed for safe and effective air purification during the development process and ensure reliable extraction of acidic air. The built-in fan is suitable for applications with medium air volumes and is ideal for extracting vapors and chemicals.

Necessary when using aqueous-based developers.

The temperature can be set and controlled individually for each developer tank. The efficient and powerful heating elements ensure rapid heating of the developer bath, making the machine ready for use more quickly and speeding up the development process. This is particularly advantageous in environments with high production frequency, as waiting and process times are minimized.

Preparation basin

The preparation basin is an essential device for the pre-treatment of etching plates. It consists of two parts: A sturdy upper part made of VA steel with a built-in grate and an integrated etching tray made of V2A steel, as well as a base cabinet with stainless steel sliding doors for storing chemicals. Alternatively, the preparation basin is made of PVC.

The top section is welded all round and has a swivel fitting for the fresh water supply for both basins. The connection for the water installation and the drain are located on the left-hand front side. The base cabinet is robust and provides secure storage space for the necessary chemicals.

Extraction hoods

for automatic and ECOLINE etching machines

STOMA offers high-quality extraction hoods that have been specially developed for use with etching machines. Our extraction hoods ensure safe and effective air purification during the etching process, whether for magnesium, zinc, copper or brass.

Extraction hoods for automatic and ECOLINE etching machines
for magnesium and/or zinc

STOMA stainless steel extraction hoods are made of robust, polished square tubing and high-quality V2A sheet metal and are produced in a practical modular design. They are characterized by simple assembly: The hood is screwed directly onto the top edge of the machine. The front is two-thirds open to allow the panels to be fixed in the machine. A permanently installed neon tube provides uniform and efficient lighting. An exhaust air connection with a diameter of 160 mm is located in the upper area of the hood. This ensures optimum extraction of the acidic air produced.

Extraction hoods for ECOLINE etching machines
for copper and/or brass

STOMA PVC extraction hoods are made of robust, polished square tubing and high-quality PVC panels and are produced in a practical modular design. This ensures that the acidic air produced is optimally extracted.

Options

This centrifugal fan is specially designed for STOMA etching machines and ensures reliable extraction of acidic air. It is suitable for applications with medium air volumes and is ideal for extracting vapors and chemicals.

Our roller shutter is available in stainless steel or PVC, depending on the application requirements. It helps to reduce unpleasant odors in the etching room and significantly improves air quality. The roller shutter closes automatically at the start of the etching process and only opens at the end, based on a preset time. This not only increases efficiency, but also operator safety, as contact with acidic air is minimized. Ideal for a clean and safe working environment.
